CALLING ALL ARTISTS!

In celebration of our 429th Founding Anniversary, we proudly present the MURAL PAINTING COMPETITION, a vibrant showcase of creativity, heritage, and community pride!

MECHANICS
-Open to teams of 3-5 members representing schools, barangays, youth groups, and other groups of artists.
-Only 12 teams will be accepted. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and must be completed by October 3, 2025, via the official Google form.
-Mural must reflect the official theme and highlight Catubig’s history, environment, and aspirations.
-Each team will be assigned a designated wall section.
-Basic materials (paint, brush) will be provided; teams may bring additional tools.
-Teams must maintain cleanliness and proper conduct throughout the activity.
-Painting period: October 6-13, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
-Mural will remain as a public art installation.

PRIZES
1ST PRIZE: 15,000.00
2ND PRIZE: 12,000.00
3RD PRIZE: 10,000.00
9 consolation Prizes @ 3,000.00 each

Catubig, Northern Samar — Councilor Tirso Rebusora Celajes Jr has been appointed as the Interim President of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) – Northern Samar Chapter and now serves as Ex-Officio Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
