𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝: 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐀𝐍𝐑 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐞
As agriculture and natural resource systems continue to evolve through digital innovation, the need for strong cybersecurity practices becomes more critical than ever.
The DICT Isabela Provincial Office was invited to serve as resource speakers in the webinar “From Field to Cloud: A Cybersecurity Awareness Webinar for AANR Stakeholders,” conducted in partnership with the Cagayan Valley Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (CVAARRD).
Bringing together participants from across the AANR sector, the session created a space for learning, awareness, and collaboration—highlighting how digital tools, while powerful, also introduce new risks that must be managed.
Through a series of insightful discussions, participants explored the current cybersecurity landscape, learned practical ways to strengthen cyber hygiene, and gained strategies on preventing and responding to cyber threats in their respective fields.
More than just a webinar, the activity emphasized a shared responsibility:
- to protect data,
- to secure systems, and
- to build a more resilient digital future for AANR.
More than building knowledge, this activity calls for a shared commitment— to safeguard our systems, protect our communities, and ensure that technology remains a tool for growth, not vulnerability.
