Ito ang tema ng ating Ahensya para sa CY 2023.

Ang tema na gabay ng Ahensya at mga empleyado nito sa pagtugon sa kani-kanilang trabaho at sa pagharap sa anumang hamon ng panibagong taon.

Ayon nga sa ating Acting NIA Administrator Engr. Eddie G. Guillen sa unang Flag Raising Ceremony ng 2023, kanyang hinimok ang lahat ng empleyado ng Ahensya na magtulungan para makamit ang mga layunin ng Ahensya.

Kaniya ring inihayag na sa kanyang panunungkulan, sa pagkakaisa ng bawat emleyado, ang buong kapasidad ng Ahensya ay gagalaw ng lubos para mapagsilbihan ang mga Pilipino, lalo na ang ating mga magsasaka.

Para ipakita ang suporta ng Opisina sa pagtupad ng hangarin ng Ahensya, binabago ng ating Opisina ang cover photo sa aming Official page, na may hashtag sa kadahilan na ang gawain ng aming Opisina ay naka angkla sa serbisyo sa bayan.

𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄

January 9, 2023 is the 2nd Monday of CY 2023, yet it is the 1st working Monday for the National Irrigation Administration!

To kickstart the new year, the Agency conducts its Ushering Activity, participated by all its Regional and Project Offices, including its Irrigation Management Offices and Field Division Offices.

For this year’s theme of “NIA Para sa Progresibong Pilipinas”, the Agency adopts the creation of a Gratitude Wall to show how the Agency has changed lives of each NIAn, while the Agency is also promoting its relevance in nation-building.

As the Ushering Activity is simultaneously conducted by NIA nationwide, the Management and Staff of NIA-MARIIS, headed by its Department Manager Engr. Gileu Michael O. Dimoloy and various Division Managers with the latter’s respective staff gladly participated in this Activity.

At MARIIS Head Office, donned with the year’s color of Viva Magenta, MARIIS Top Management and employees gamely cat-walked their semi-formal and casual wear as a start. Choosing between the colors of blue, red, yellow green and orange, each employee sticked to the gratitude wall what are they personally thankful for. At the end of the activity, color blue is the prominent color. Color blue represents salary and benefits!

In the message of Department Manager Dimoloy, he stated that the choices of salary and benefits (blue), love and romance (red), friendship and connections (yellow), opportunities and experiences (green), honor and recognition (orange) are all attainable in the Agency, for which everybody is grateful for, hence, in return, MARIIS employees should also perform their functions to contribute to the attainment of Agency’s objectives, especially in uplifting the live of Filipino farmers.

For positivity and unity for 2023, Engineering and Operations Division Manager Jaime M. Lara and NIAEASP Chapter President Milo C. Villanueva gave the customary toast.

We experienced continuous rain since December 2023 until the early part of January 2023. Thank you to the able men and women of MARIIS, especially to the Management Team and Staff of the Magat Dam and Reservoir Division who even during the holiday season, had tirelessly monitored rainfalls and efficiently managed the Dam and its complex system.

There were areas roads and bridges then that were not passable and some areas that experienced some flooding, even without any water releases from the Magat Dam.
