Location: The Philippines, Negros Occidental (Western Visayas), Cauayan (next to Kabankalan City), Mambugsay, Purok Tumpok. Status: Currently not open to the general public - unless by request. Description: Our main aim is to create a clean energy, organic farm, with local community support and an eco-tourism nature reserve with outdoor events and

accomodation. It will use clean renewable power, local food and produce, act as a hub for new facilities as well as services and aims to be an area for personal growth: involving spiritual aspects and various art forms. All areas will be made from recycled materials and objects and the area will cater as a spa and relaxation retreat. There will be a mixture of activities for all ages both for the outdoor and indoor types of people. Areas within the Sanctuary will be mixed for the general public use and private quieter areas for hotel guests. The basis of the Divine Sanctuary is to get people connected with community, the human senses, to be grounded and happy in the moment, to help develop mindfulness, empathy and connection to everything. Ecotourism is a form of tourism involving visiting fragile, pristine, and relatively undisturbed natural areas, intended as a low-impact and often small scale alternative to standard commercial and mass tourism. Its purpose may be to educate the traveler, to provide funds for ecological conservation, to directly benefit the economic development and political empowerment of local communities, or to foster respect for different cultures and general human rights. The site will educate and show people green solutions and aim to get people more connected with nature: something we all were connected with. The area is essentially a multi-functional area that aims for growth and creativity in many forms. We aim to help people develop their mind, body and soul whilst encouraging people find their passion and direction. The Sanctuary aims to help relax you and heal you through various forms of therapy and experiences, helping each individual flourish and grow stronger than when they arrived.
