Serbisyong Una Ka Dito: Magna Carta of Women Discussed in Radio Program

The weekly radio program of the City Government of Cauayan, “Serbisyong Una Ka Dito,” over radio station DWDY featured a discussion on the Magna Carta of Women as part of the celebration of the 17th Anniversary of Republic Act No. 9710, or the Magna Carta of Women.

Serving as the resource speaker was Atty. Annalou Villeza, City Assistant Legal Officer of the LGU Cauayan, who discussed and provided insights into women’s rights, including their right to equal treatment, protection against discrimination and violence, and access to essential services and opportunities.

Atty. Villeza also emphasized the importance of women being knowledgeable about their rights so they can better protect themselves and confidently speak up against any form of abuse, discrimination, or injustice.

Through “Serbisyong Una Ka Dito,” the City Government of Cauayan continues to provide Cauayeños with relevant information and essential services, including programs that promote and protect the rights, welfare, and empowerment of women.
