In aid of legislation, the 9th City Council through the initiative of the Hon. Paul Vincent R. Mauricio, Chairman, Committee on Public Utilities presided a Committee Hearing today to tackle issues, concerns and matters relative to the proposed Ordinance No. 2025-662, An Ordinance requiring prior consultation with the Local Chief Executive and approval of the Sangguniang Panlungsod before the implementation of any program, project or activity within the territorial jurisdiction of the City of Cauayan, Isabela and providing penalties for violations thereof.

The hearing was attended by the concerned Regional Directors and concerned LGU Department Heads along with the members of the August Body.

Meanwhile, Ms. Marjory F. Mercado, Secretary I was in-charged of the minutes of the Committee Hearing assisted by Ms. Princess Liezl A. Ferrer, Records Officer I. The entire proceedings of the hearing was assisted and documented by Mr. Reynaldo R. Mamaradlo, Local Legislative Staff Officer IV.

As a matter of courtesy, the 9th City Council through the initiative of the Hon. Paul Vincent R. The City Council through the initiative of Hon. Paolo Eleazar C. Delmendo, Chairperson, Committee on Health and Sanitation and sponsor of the City Ordinance No. 2024-600, entitled: An Ordinance prohibiting the use of false report for publication, malicious distribution of false news that may endanger the public and imposing penalties for violation thereof has scheduled a Committee Hearing today with the different schools heads of schools, private and public, and other concerned agencies in the City of Cauayan, Isabela.

The purpose of which is to discuss and tackle issues and concerns regarding the publication of unverified and baseless news reports which causes public chaos. The Committee Hearing was presided by Hon. Delmendo which started at 2:15 in the afternoon.

In aid of legislation, the Honorable 9th City Council of the City of Cauayan, Isabela through the initiative of the Hon. Camilo T. Ballad, SKF President and Chairperson of the Committee on Youth, Sports and Development scheduled a Committee Hearing today to tackle concerns and matters relative to the operation and management of the BGD Sports Complex.

The Hon. Camilo T. Ballad presided the Committee Hearing today which started at 10:30 in the morning. The activity was attended by invited personalities to shed lights on matters at hand. Dy, III which started at 9:00 in the morning with an opening prayer led by Pastor Joey Magundayao of the Jesus Christ The Deliverer followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Ms. Lorelei Bucaling, staff of Hon. Bagnos R. Maximo, Jr.

During the privilege hour, Hon. Paolo Eleazar C. Delmendo scheduled a Committee Hearing on September 16, 2025 to tackles issues and concerns regarding the alarming number Bomb Threats in schools at the City of Cauayan, Isabela which causes public chaos.

Hon. Thea Rose Ann A. Garcia likewise scheduled a Committee Hearing concerning Tourism related matters.

Meanwhile, Ms. Maricel Acoba, Local Legislative Assistant II was in-charged of the minutes of the regular session and its corresponding journal assisted by Ms. Ma. Cecilia Alera. Ms. Alina V. Babaran was also present for City Council’s attendance and for the referrals of the concerned committee.

Maximo, Jr. , Chairperson, Committee on Infrastructure to tackled and discuss matters and issues relative to the use of LGU-owned Heavy Equipment in the City of Cauayan, Isabela. The hearing started at 10:00 in the morning which was presided by Hon. Maximo.
