202nd Brigade’s Non-Commissioned Officers Embrace Responsibility and Leadership
CAVINTI, Laguna – The Brigade's Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) have their pinning of NCO Leadership Badge and Donning of Rank Ceremony at the Kabataan Activity Center, Headquarters 202nd Infantry (UNIFIER) Brigade on May 15, 2026.
The ceremony honored the NCO for their leadership, dedication, and exemplary performance. Among them was one promoted to the next higher rank. The NCO Leadership Badge highlighted the essential role of NCOs as the backbone of the organization-entrusted with leading soldiers at the action level, where the Army’s vital, day-to-day work is accomplished.
BGEN ERNEST JOHN C. JADLOC PA delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing the pivotal role of NCOs in turning plans into action on the ground. He said “While Officers may develop strategies, it’s the NCOs who make things happen," where the rubber meets the road"—ensuring missions succeed through leadership and action.” He further encourages the NCOs to lead with honor, aspiration, and dedication.
He added “Leadership is earned through service and commitment. As you wear your new rank and badges, may you continue to be instruments of discipline, unity, and inspiration to your fellow soldiers and the community.”
The event served as a powerful reminder that every promotion and leadership designation brings with it increased responsibility and accountability. It also underscored the critical importance of NCO empowerment and leadership within the organization.
