03 August 2026 โ The Headquarters, Cyber Warfare Force, Philippine Navy (P), participated in the Celebration of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Month 2026 through a Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony held at the TV Lounge, Headquarters, Cyber Warfare Force, PN (P), Naval Base Heracleo Alano (NBHA), Sangley Point, Cavite City.
Led by CAPTAIN JOHN B MONTES PN (GSC), Commander, Cyber Warfare Force, PN (P), the activity was attended by Officers, Enlisted Personnel, and Civilian Human Resources of this Force. The ceremony formed part of the nationwide observance of IHL Month 2026, carrying the theme, "๐ฃ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ ๐ป๐ฎ ๐จ๐ด๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ด๐ธ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ถ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ด๐๐๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ด ๐ป๐ด ๐๐๐."
The observance underscored the Armed Forces of the Philippines' continuing commitment to promoting awareness and adherence to the principles of International Humanitarian Law. It also reinforced the importance of unity, respect for human dignity, and compliance with the rule of law in the conduct of military operations and the performance of public service.
Through its participation, the Cyber Warfare Force, Philippine Navy (P), reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to upholding International Humanitarian Law, strengthening professionalism, and upholding Humanitarian Law by promoting respect for Human dignity, protecting civilians and other protected persons, and ensuring military operations are conducted with honor, integrity, and accountability in service to the nation.
