The UP Office of Admissions (OAdms) has extended the deadline for submission of Forms 1 and 2B, Form 2A, and hard copy of Grades to Sept. 7.

UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) 2027 applicants who took the exam are required to fill out and submit their Forms 1 and 2B through the online portal. Certified true copies of Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 must be submitted at the OAdms, located at UP Diliman.

Deadline is extended until 07 September 2026.

Failure to submit your online Form 2B and the required hard copy of your grades may result in your application not being processed.

Please be reminded to NOT withdraw your application if you have incorrect information in the online application.

Grade 12 school officials must also use the Form 2A online portal to update their school information and signatories, and confirm their Grade 12 students until the same extended deadline.

✏️ They say breaking a pencil after the UPCAT brings luck. This year, thousands chose something even more meaningful. They chose to give.

Instead of leaving their pencils behind as part of a tradition, hundreds of UPCAT 2027 takers turned them into instruments of hope.

Through the UP Pahinungod System-wide Pencil Donation Drive, UP Cebu Ugnayan ng Pahinungod collected 𝟭,𝟱𝟮𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝘀 during the UPCAT on August 1–2, 2026.

These pencils will soon find their way to one of our Pahinungod partner schools, where they will be used in our upcoming tutorial. In the hands of young learners, they will once again write answers, solve problems, sketch ideas, and inspire dreams.

To every UPCAT taker who chose generosity over habit, thank you. Your pencil did not mark the end of your journey. It became the beginning of someone else's.

The application period for the Student Learning Assistance System (SLAS) for Academic Year 2026–2027 will run from August 7-14, 2026. Students are encouraged to complete their applications within the prescribed schedule.

The University of the Philippines Cebu has appointed Asst. Prof. Mia E. Mateo as Director of the Ugnayan Ng Pahinungód, effective 03 August 2026, pursuant to Administrative Order No. CLM 2026-094.

Before her appointment, Asst. Prof. Mateo served as Assistant to the Director of the the same office, where she helped advance the University's extension and public service initiatives.

Asst. Prof. Mateo is a faculty member of the College of Communication, Art, and Design - CCAD.

𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗘𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗔𝗔𝗣 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗨𝗣𝗖𝗔𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

The final leg of the Affirmative Action Program (AAP) for UPCAT 2027 was conducted at the University of the Philippines High School from July 20 to 29, with sessions held daily from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This concluding phase brought together our learners for intensive review sessions designed to strengthen their knowledge, sharpen their test-taking strategies, and build their confidence before the UPCAT.

Throughout the program, volunteer instructors and faculty members facilitated engaging lessons, practice activities, and guided discussions covering key subject areas included in the UPCAT.

As this journey comes to a close, we extend our deepest appreciation to every volunteer who stood with us—from the first UPCAT Awareness Campaign to the final session of the Affirmative Action Program.

The hours you willingly gave created opportunities that many students might not have had otherwise. Beyond lessons and review materials, you offered reassurance, confidence, and the belief that a place in UP is attainable through perseverance and preparation. The story of this program is, in many ways, a story of your generosity, and its impact will continue in every learner who carries these experiences into the UPCAT and beyond.
