The Apas Emergency Response Team conducted a misting operation at Lower Panabang, Barangay Apas, Cebu City as part of the communityโ€™s ongoing efforts to prevent and control the spread of dengue.

The operation was conducted in response to the rising number of dengue cases in Barangay Apas, with the objective of reducing mosquito populations and minimizing potential dengue transmission in the affected area.

The activity was carried out as instructed by Barangay Captain Hon. Virgil Cabigon, emphasizing the barangayโ€™s commitment to protecting the health and safety of its residents.

Residents were also encouraged to maintain proper sanitation, eliminate stagnant water, and take necessary precautions against mosquito bites.

A vehicular incident involving two (2) motorcycles and two (2) vehicles was reported at Nivel Hills, Barangay Busay.

Upon receiving the report, the Apas Emergency Response Team (AERT) Ambulance 2 immediately responded to the area to provide emergency assistance and ensure the safety of those involved.

The Traffic Enforcement Unit of Cebu City is currently conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances and cause of the incident.

This incident serves as a reminder to all motorists to observe traffic rules, maintain safe speeds, stay alert, and practice defensive driving. Road safety is a shared responsibilityโ€”a moment of caution can prevent a lifetime of regret
