When someone does you wrong, you really want to fight back. That feeling is normal. But staying quiet doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re choosing control on purpose.
If you don’t hit back, the fight stops with you. Your hands stay clean. You don’t have to explain yourself to everyone.
Revenge feels like it will fix things, but it actually traps you. It keeps you tied to the person who hurt you. When you let go, you cut that tie. You hand the problem to God. He is fair and He doesn’t miss anything.
God saw it all. He heard the words people said when you weren’t there. He knows what they meant to do. He saw the damage. You don’t have to play judge. God keeps track better than we can. His timing is different from ours.
So be quiet. Not because you’re scared, but because you trust Him. In that quiet, God speaks. His voice gives you back your peace. Revenge can’t do that.
Romans 12:19 📖
“Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.”
To God be the Glory!! 🙌🏻
