The Reserve Command, Philippine Navy, through Naval Reserve Center – Eastern Visayas (NRCen-EV) marked another milestone in the continuing reorganization and strengthening of the Philippine Navy Reserve Force through the activation, renaming, and deactivation of Ready Reserve Units in Eastern Visayas.

The ceremony was presided over by MGEN DOROTEO JOSE M. JALANDONI PN(M), Commander, Reserve Command – Navy, signifying an important transition toward a more organized, responsive, and mission-ready Reserve Force.

⚓ 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗦
The 11th Marine Brigade Reserve was formally activated, together with the following units:

• 112nd Marine Battalion Reserve
• 1120th Weapons Company Reserve
• 1121st Marine R***e Company Reserve
• 511st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve
• 512nd Naval Combat Support Squadron Reserve
• 513th Naval Service Support Squadron Reserve
• 521st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve
• 522nd Naval Combat Support Squadron Reserve
• 523rd Naval Service Support Squadron Reserve

In line with the reorganization and activation of the new Ready Reserve Units, the following former units were formally deactivated:

• 50th Naval Facility Engineer Battalion
• 511th Naval Squadron Reserve
• 512th Naval Squadron Reserve
• 513th Naval Squadron Reserve
• 521st Naval Squadron Reserve
• 522nd Naval Squadron Reserve
• 523rd Naval Squadron Reserve
• 822nd Marine R***e Company Reserve
• 823rd Marine R***e Company Reserve

The newly activated 11th Marine Brigade Reserve is presently led by LTC GILES ANTHONY VILLAMOR PN(M)(GSC)(RES), former Commander of the 82nd Marine Battalion Reserve, who assumes the role of Acting Brigade Commander pending his official designation.

This reorganization ushers in a strengthened Ready Reserve structure in Eastern Visayas, enhancing the organization, training, readiness, and mobilization of reservists in support of the Philippine Navy’s mission.

The structure may change. The designation may change. But the commitment to serve remains.

All qualified personnel are encouraged to submit their complete promotion requirements to Headquarters Naval Reserve Center – Eastern Visayas (HNRCEN-EV) at the earliest opportunity to ensure the timely processing of their promotion.

✅ Important Reminders
• All promotion documents must be duly endorsed by your Immediate Unit Commander prior to submission.
• For the Recommendation Letter from the Unit Commander, please coordinate with your respective Battalion/Squadron Admin Officer or NCO for processing and issuance.

• Applicants for PFC/SN2 (E2) to CPL/SN1 (E3) and CPL/SN1 (E3) to SGT/PO3 (E4) shall compile all requirements in one (1) blue folder using a slider (not a fastener) with properly labeled blue index tabs.

📋 Promotion Eligibility Requirements

PFC/SN2 (E2) ➜ CPL/SN1 (E3)
• Must have completed the required Time-in-Grade (TIG) of three (3) years as a PFC/SN2.
• Must have completed an Active Duty Training (ADT) within the applicable three-year period.

CPL/SN1 (E3) ➜ SGT/PO3 (E4)
• Must have completed the required Time-in-Grade (TIG) of three (3) years in the current rank of CPL/SN1.
• Must have completed an Active Duty Training (ADT) within the applicable three-year period.

Graduate po ako ng 𝐍𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂/𝐌𝐒𝟐/𝐌𝐒𝟑. Kaso matagal na taon na ang nakakalipas, paano po ba magpa-active ulit?

Kung ikaw ay dating NROTC/MS2/MS3 graduate at nais muling maging aktibong bahagi ng Philippine Navy Reserve Force, maaari ka pa ring magpa-reactivate.

Ang unang hakbang ay ang pagpunta sa Naval Reserve Center – Eastern Visayas upang ma-verify ang iyong records at mabigyan ng tamang gabay sa activation process. Matapos ang pagsusuri ng iyong records, ipapaalam sa iyo ang mga kinakailangang dokumento at iba pang requirements na kailangan mong isumite. Mas mabuti kung exisiting pa ang iyong Enlistment Order.
