Unsa man gyud ang Army Engineer Brigade? 🪖🛠️

Dili tanan sundalo, pusil ang pirming gihuptan. Adunay mga sundalong pala, piko, metro ug plano ang ilang gamit aron makatukod, makaayo, ug makatabang sa komunidad.

Sa Cebu, Bohol ug Negros Island Region, anaa ang 542nd Engineer “Pathfinder” Battalion sa Philippine Army, nga nagsilbi isip Army Engineer unit sa maong mga lugar.

Kung adunay dalan nga kinahanglan limpyohan ug ayohon human sa bagyo, tulay nga kinahanglang matukod o mapasig-uli, o komunidad nga lisod maabot tungod sa kalamidad, apil ang mga Pathfinder sa motubag sa panginahanglan.

Kay sama sa atong makita sa Cebu ug sa ubang bahin sa Visayas, ang dalan ug tulay dili lang imprastraktura. Kini nagkonektar sa mga pamilya, komunidad, eskwelahan, panginabuhian ug serbisyo.

Mao kini ang trabaho sa Army Engineers: dili lang pagpanalipod sa nasud, kundili pagtabang sa pagtukod ug pagpalig-on sa mga komunidad.

Sa matag pala nga ilang ikalot, matag tulay nga ilang matukod, ug matag dalan nga ilang mapasig-uli, adunay usa ka tumong: mas luwas, mas lig-on, ug mas konektadong komunidad.

Sama sa gipasiugda ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., kabahin sa pagpalig-on sa nasud ang pagpalambo sa mga komunidad ug paghatod sa serbisyo ngadto sa katawhan.

Magandang balita para sa mga PUV drivers!

Simula August 15, itinaas na sa ₱12 kada litro ang fuel discount para sa mga jeepney at UV Express drivers.

Batay ito sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na palawakin ang suporta sa sektor ng transportasyon.

Ngayon ay maaari nang umabot sa ₱1,800 kada linggo ang matitipid ng bawat kwalipikadong driver. Ang dating ₱10 kada litro na fuel discount ay dinagdagan pa para mas lalong makatulong sa higit 93,000 PUV drivers sa bansa.

𝐎𝐂𝐃 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐂𝐒 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐆𝐔 𝐋𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐜, 𝐁𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐥

The Office of Civil Defense Region VII (OCD7) facilitated and conducted the Basic Incident Command System (BICS) Training Course for the Local Government Unit of Loboc, Bohol, on Aug 5-7, 2026, held at the Loboc Children’s Palace, Loboc, Bohol.

The training was attended by Sangguniang Bayan Members, the Municipal Administrator, Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officers (LDRRMOs), and other barangay officials, who were equipped with essential knowledge and skills on the Incident Command System (ICS) and its application in managing emergencies and disasters.

The activity was also graced by the presence of Hon. Raymond G. Jala, Municipal Mayor of Loboc, Bohol, demonstrating the local government’s commitment to strengthening its disaster preparedness and response capabilities.

Through the BICS training, participants gained a better understanding of incident organization, roles and responsibilities, chain of command, coordination, communication, and resource management—essential components in ensuring a more organized and effective response during emergencies.

True to its commitment, OCD7 continues to support local government units in building capable, coordinated, and resilient disaster management teams toward safer and more disaster-resilient communities in Central Visayas.
