THE SEA MOTH (Pegasus volitans) comprise five species of bizzare, shallow water marine fishes occurring in the Indo-Pacific and Hawaii. Their snouts are spatula-shaped, and their flattened bodies are made up of a rigid, bony latticework.The expansive pectoral fins resemble moth wings. Sea moths live on the bottom and must eat small food.
