Ang buhatan sa OWWA Region 7, uban sa pakipag-alayon sa TESDA ug sa International Labour Organization (ILO) para sa kami nag imbitar sa mga interesado ug qualified na mga babae nga OFW returnees sa pag salmot ni ining LIBRE/FREE nga Livelihood Skills Training.

Nagtanyag kita og 125 slots para sa mga sumusunod na TESDA NCII scholarship programs para sa mga OFWs na babaye sa CEBU:

* 25 slots for Bread and Pastry Production
* 100 slots for Call/Contact Center Services

Ang pagpanawat sa scholarship hangtod lang sa petsa 26 Hulyo 2021(adlawng Martes) ug kining pamaagi kay First-Come, First-Served basis ug ang Training magsugod sa unang semana sa Agosto 2021.

3.Proof of Overseas Employment (OEC o Overseas Employment Certificate gikan sa POEA; Verified Contract sa POEA/POLO; Working Visa ug uban pang pagmatuod)
4.Proof as displaced/distressed OFW or affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic (loss of employment), or DSWD Social Wrlfare Attache or POLO-OWWA Referral gikan sa Labor Attache or OWWA Welfare Officer (WelOf) o dokumento gikan sa Embahada sa Pilipinas
5.Picture (2 copies of 2x2 or 1x1 size picture-recent/latest photo)
6.Barangay Certificate

OWWA-NRCO invites interested seafarers to join the 2021 Business Plan Competition

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration – National Reintegration Center for OFWs (OWWA-NRCO) invites all the OFW seafarers and their families to join the special edition of the business plan competition, which was renamed as The OWWA-NRCO Business Plan Competition, a nationwide competition that aims to encourage and support qualified seafarers and their families intending to venture into social entrepreneurship and support growth of jobs in their hometowns.

Dubbed as “From Seafarers to Entrepreneurs: The 2021 OWWA-NRCO Business Plan Competition is open to all interested seafarers and their families intending to venture into start-up business while staying for good in the country.

Seafarers can join the competition in three (3) ways:
• Solo – participant must be the direct seafarer
• By pairs – participants are the direct seafarer and his immediate family member. Immediate family members include, but not limited to, legal spouse, children, parents, and siblings.
• By groups – limited to 3-5 members (direct seafarer and their partners)

Active or inactive (must have been in the Philippines for not more than five (5) years) seafarers are also welcome to join.

For seafarers who are currently on duty and is unable to attend the presentation and coordination activities related to the competition, including attendance to the mentoring session, must have at least one (1) official representative (must be an immediate family member) who will handle all the tasks and activities required in the competition.

Confirmed contestants will undergo the mentoring round through an online platform which is scheduled to be conducted in July 2021. After the mentoring round, all contestants will submit their own initial market pitch in video form (maximum 3 minutes). The videos will be rated through the following:

Content of the plan including
social business idea and purpose 30pts
Impact on the community 20pts
Financial viability 30pts
Clarity and presentation of the
business plan 10pts
Drive and determination of the
business owner-entrepreneur 10pts
TOTAL 100pts

The judges will then choose the first Top 11 market pitches to advance to the final Round. They will re-submit enhanced or reformulated business plan in preparation for the Final Round which will be conducted through an online platform.

Prizes of the competition will be as follows:
a) Top 1: Php 150,000.00;
b) Top 2-6: Php 100,000.00 x 5 = Php 500,000.00;
c) Consolation Prizes (Ranks 7-11): Php 20,000.00 x 5 = Php 100,000.00.

The public, through the NRCO page, can also participate in the voting who among the contestants has the most “catchy poster”. The contestant with the most number of votes shall win the Voter’s Choice Award while the freshest and most innovative business idea will be awarded the Bagong Tuklas Award.

Special Awards:
d) Viewer’s Choice Award: 10,000.00 (Poster), and
e) Bagong Tuklas Award: 10,000.00
