Cebu Normal University – Alegria Campus is set to mark a significant milestone with the 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐍𝐔–𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at CNU–Alegria Campus, San Roque, Poblacion, Alegria, Cebu.

With the theme, “𝐂𝐍𝐔-𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐚: 𝐀 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫,” the occasion celebrates the beginning of a new chapter in bringing quality education closer to the learners of Southern Cebu.

This historic occasion marks not only the opening of a campus, but also the beginning of a shared commitment to excellence and transformative education.

For the safety and welfare of all residents, visitors, and tourism stakeholders, all river-related eco-tourism activities in the Municipality of Alegria are hereby 𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲.

This precautionary measure is being implemented due to unfavorable weather conditions and the potential risks of flash floods, strong river currents, and other hazards that may endanger lives.

We strongly advise everyone to refrain from entering or conducting any activities in rivers and other affected areas until the suspension is officially lifted.
