When the ground shakes, what you do before, during, and after an earthquake can save lives. Be informed. Be prepared. 💪

🔹 BEFORE AN EARTHQUAKE
✅ Make sure your home is safe — repair cracks, secure heavy furniture, and keep breakables on lower shelves.
✅ Identify safe spots in every room such as under a sturdy table or beside an interior wall.
✅ Prepare your Emergency Go Bag with essentials like food, water, medicine, flashlight, and important documents.

🔹 DURING AN EARTHQUAKE
✅ Stay calm and Drop, Cover, and Hold On!
✅ If you’re inside, stay indoors and take cover under a sturdy table.
✅ Stay away from windows, mirrors, and heavy objects.
✅ If you’re outside, move to an open area away from buildings, trees, and power lines.

🔹 AFTER AN EARTHQUAKE
✅ Check yourself and others for injuries.
✅ Be alert for aftershocks.
✅ Do not enter damaged buildings.
✅ Stay updated through trusted news and official advisories.
✅ If you need to evacuate, bring your Go Bag and stay together with your family.
