UPDATE: Following last night’s heavy rains, DPWH Cebu City DEO Quick Response Teams were immediately deployed to clear clogged drainage systems and major waterways under , ensuring the swift recession of floodwaters and maintaining safe passage for motorists and commuters.
While the city slept through the heavy downpour, our dedicated DPWH Cebu City DEO maintenance personnel were already on the ground, working tirelessly through the night to keep our roads and drainage networks functional. 🛠️
In line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to strengthen disaster preparedness, improve flood mitigation measures, and ensure uninterrupted public service, and under the leadership of Secretary Vince Dizon, who continues to push for responsive government service, DPWH remains steadfast in its commitment to proactive maintenance, rapid response operations, and ensuring the safety and welfare of the public.
