Anchored on strengthening learner-centered instruction, DepEd Cebu Province conducted the Division-Led Training of Trainers on the Revised Grades 6, 9, and 10 Curriculum from May 25 to 29, 2026, simultaneously at Cebu Business Hotel, Golden Valley Hotel, Crown Regency Hotel, and Alta Cebu Resort.
Through this undertaking, the division ensured that school trainers would be efficiently prepared to impart the knowledge and skills gained from the regional training in the previous weeks.
In support of the national directive on the phased implementation of the Revised K to 10 Curriculum, the said training aimed to equip school trainers with deeper understanding of the revised learning competencies, standards, and pedagogical approaches.
Educators and school leaders across Cebu Province underwent a series of lectures and workshops to ensure effective implementation of the revised curriculum in schools for School Year 2026-2027.
Through the enhanced understanding of the curriculum, teaching strategies, and assessment methods, educators can provide a more responsive and engaging learning environment.
As the training concluded, participants reaffirmed their commitment to delivering quality, transformative, and holistic education to Cebuano learners.
Next week, the division will monitor the district rollout of cascading essential concepts and pedagogies of the revised curriculum.
