CEBU — DTI Region 7 Central Visayas, in partnership with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship- Go Negosyo, commemorated the 10th Anniversary of the Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) Program by recognizing 40 entrepreneurs who successfully completed the KMME-MME Program during the 10th KMME Anniversary and KMME-MME Graduation Ceremony.

The milestone event recognized the accomplishments of 21 entrepreneurs from Bohol and 19 entrepreneurs from Cebu who successfully completed the KMME-MME Program—DTI’s flagship mentorship initiative that equips MSMEs with the knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial mindset needed to build resilient and competitive businesses.

Over the past ten years, DTI 7 has successfully conducted 20 batches, producing 1,139 KMME graduates who continue to strengthen their enterprises, generate employment, and contribute to regional economic growth.

Today, the MSME Resilience Core Group (RCG) brings together government agencies, private sector partners, development organizations, and MSMEs for the MSME Resilience Forum, a platform to strengthen partnerships, share practical solutions, and empower enterprises to better prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and other disruptions.

The forum features insightful panel discussions, interactive World Café sessions, and the Negosyong Matatag Awards, recognizing MSMEs that have demonstrated resilience, innovation, and leadership in the face of adversity.

With IRegIS, applicants can now conveniently submit their applications online, making transactions faster, easier, and more efficient.

DTI Cebu officially launched the 40th Negosyo Center in Cebu, further strengthening government efforts to make business development services more accessible to MSMEs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and local stakeholders in Cebu City.

The newly established Negosyo Center Cebu City is located at the 4th Floor of Robinsons Galleria Cebu and will operate from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The center will serve as a frontline hub for business registration assistance, business advisory services, mentoring, access to financing information, and other MSME development support programs.

The launching follows the successful inauguration of the 39th Negosyo Center in Cordova last March 2026, reflecting DTI’s continuing commitment to expand accessible business support services across the province.
