HOW ARE THEY SAYING THIS AT 14 AND 15 YEARS OLD?! 💔
Newly released patrol-car footage is giving a clearer picture of a disturbing case involving two students from Lake Brantley High School in Seminole County, Florida, who are accused of plotting to kill a classmate.
The video was recorded back in January after the girls were arrested, and it was recently played in court during a bond hearing.
In the footage, the teens can reportedly be heard laughing, talking about being handcuffed, and mentioning that someone “snitched” to police, which they believe led to their arrest.
Authorities say the investigation started after an anonymous tip through the FortifyFL reporting system warned that a student might be planning to attack another classmate.
When deputies looked into it, they say they found a knife and a written note connected to the alleged plan.
Right now, one of the teens is facing attempted first-degree murder and possession of a weapon on school property, while the other is charged as an accessory.
For now, a judge has denied bond for both of them, so they’ll remain in custody as the case continues to move through the courts.
