Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

Localized cancellation or suspension of classes in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives.

Yesterday, Municipal Mayor Atty. Mary Joyce P. Maggay conducted a monitoring visit and, at the same time, had a meaningful kamustahan with the hardworking 𝙠𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙣 of 𝙎𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤 𝙇𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙤 and 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙘𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙣 at the 𝙂𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣,

The visit aimed to personally hear and understand the concerns, challenges, and needs of the members as they continue their efforts in developing the Gulayan sa Bayan—moving forward little by little, one step at a time. 🌱

The Gulayan sa Bayan continues to receive technical assistance from the Municipal Agriculture Office, through Ms. Enriqueta Dangsian, Coordinator of the High-Value Crop Development Program, whose dedicated involvement and guidance have been sustained since the initiative first started.

And soon, the Gulayan sa Bayan will have its very own 𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙂𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣—a welcoming space where visitors can enjoy freshly brewed coffee paired with a few delightful delicacies from Cervantes, while also having the opportunity to pick and enjoy fresh, homegrown vegetables straight from the Gulayan.☕️

With continuous support and development, the initiative aims to transform the Gulayan sa Bayan into a source of fresh and organic vegetables for the community, while also serving as a learning site for sustainable and organic farming practices.

Their dedication, creativity, and perseverance continue to shine as they transform every lesson into valuable skills that can open doors to livelihood opportunities and economic empowerment. 👗✂️

As of 2:00 AM today, 3 September 2026, Tropical Storm “PILANDOK” is being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm “SAUDEL” (formerly “OBET”) and LPA 08m are being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR. LPA 08m is now considered “UNLIKELY” to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from PAGASA-DOST.
