SARI-SARING PROGRAMA | MBSAP – BATCH 2 - PLAN PRESENTATION | August 26, 2026

The Municipal Government of Clarin, through the leadership of Municipal Mayor Eugeniano E. Ibarra, expresses its sincere gratitude to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for facilitating the 2nd Batch of the Micro-Business Sustainability & Advancement Program (MBSAP) for our local sari-sari store owners.

We are equally thankful to our participants for their cooperation, active participation, and commitment to learning. Programs like this provide our micro-entrepreneurs with valuable knowledge and practical guidance to help sustain and advance their businesses.

During his message, Mayor Ibarra also shared a practical reminder to our micro-entrepreneurs:

“Sa negosyo, pagbilin gyud ug kwarta sa panahon nga ting-tapal.”

A simple but meaningful reminder to save and prepare during good business days, so there is something to rely on during lean times.

The Local Government Unit of Clarin, headed by Hon. Mayor Eugeniano Ermac Ibarra, together with Hon. Vice Mayor Fernando C. Camacho Jr., the Local Youth Development Officer Designate, Ms. Liezel Degamo Recones and the Federated SK President Hon. Daphnie Degamo Poquita, proudly recognizes the dedication and outstanding performance of our Boholympics athletes.

📍DAY 2 | SGLG ASSESSMENT 2026

The Municipality of Clarin successfully completed another set of governance indicators under the 2026 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Assessment, reflecting the LGU's continued commitment to excellence in public service and good governance.

The following indicators were successfully assessed:

✅ Financial Management

▪️ Municipal Treasurer – Ms. Angelie P. Alisaca
▪️ Municipal Accountant – Ms. Sharmaine L. Cadenas
✅ Environmental Management
▪️ Ms. Kathleen T. Lebita – Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC), MENRO-Designate

✅ Gender and Development (GAD) & Tourism
▪️ Mr. Jay Marc T. Sotto – Municipal Agriculturist, GAD Focal Person, and Tourism Officer-Designate

DAY 1 | SGLG ASSESSMENT 2026

The Municipality of Clarin officially commenced Day 1 of the 2026 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Assessment, reaffirming its commitment to responsive, transparent, accountable, and efficient public service.

The assessment gathered the different department heads, focal persons, and members of the Local Government Unit to present documentary requirements, accomplishments, and best practices aligned with the SGLG assessment indicators.

As of today, the following indicators have successfully completed their assessment:

✅ Disaster Preparedness Indicator – Ms. Nena Alisaca
✅ Health Compliance and Responsiveness Indicator - Dr. Reina Jane V. Demandante

These successful presentations reflect the Municipality's continuous efforts in strengthening disaster resilience and promoting quality healthcare services for every Clarinanon.

The Municipality of Clarin, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Engr. Eugeniano Ibarra, remains steadfast in its pursuit of excellence in local governance and the delivery of quality public service.

The Local School Board (LSB) of the Municipality of Clarin convened today, July 27, 2026 to discuss and deliberate on key education concerns and initiatives that will further enhance the delivery of quality education in the municipality.

Among the matters discussed were the new permanent teaching items, updates on school conversion, recognition of new NASH passers, preparations for the Town Fiesta/DepEd Night, and proposed resolutions for the realignment of Local School Board funds to support school infrastructure, personnel, and district operations. The Board also heard other concerns and recommendations from education stakeholders.
