Si Gerry Agot Apao, 41 anyos nga mag-uuma gikan sa lungsod sa Panaon, nangayo ug tabang alang sa iyang igsoon nga si Mary Kris Agot Apao, 30 anyos, nga na-admit sa Faith General Hospital. Dako ang problema sa pamilya kay miabot sa P13,854.51 ang excess hospital bill nga dili gyud nila kaya bayaran.

Matod ni Gerry, wala gyud sila kasuway ug ingon ani nga serbisyo sa ilang lugar kung wala pa magpadala si Cong. Indy Oaminal ug mga coordinators sa Panaon. Pinaagi sa Asenso Pinoy Medical Assistance Program, gi-zero balance ang bill sa iyang igsoon—usa ka dako kaayong tabang sa ilang pamilya. Gipasabot ni Gerry nga karon pa gyud sila naka-benefit ug ingon ani nga programa. “Wala gyud na sa una sa among lugar. Karon ra gyud mi nakadawat ug tabang gikan ni Cong. Atty. Indy Oaminal.”

Nagpasalamat usab siya sa General Coordinator ni Cong. Indy sa Panaon nga si Kapitan Jun Ignacio, ug labi na kang Cong. Indy Oaminal sa programa sa free hospitalization.

Para ni Gerry, ang tabang sa Asenso Pinoy mao gyud ang unang higayon nga naka-eksperyensya sila ug tinuod ug patas nga serbisyo nga miabot sa ilang pamilya.

Believing that quality education must go hand in hand with student well-being, Asenso Pinoy Rep. Atty. Indy Oaminal joined the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education today for the initial deliberation on the bills Strengthening the Mental Health Services in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).

These measures aim to ensure that SUCs are well-equipped with the necessary resources and professional personnel that would prioritize the mental health of the students. During the discussion, Rep. Oaminal urged the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to come up with a plan on how to bridge the gap to address the scarcity of guidance councilors within the country.

Rep. Oaminal’s active participation serves as a manifestation of his commitment to serving the Filipino youth in order to secure a brighter future.
