📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY | GUIDELINES ON CLASS SUSPENSIONS

In line with DepEd Order No. 014, s. 2026, here are the official guidelines on the suspension of classes during tropical cyclones and heavy rainfall warnings.

We encourage all parents, learners, teachers, and stakeholders to stay informed and follow official announcements from DepEd, PAGASA, and your Local Government Unit (LGU).

Safety always comes first. Stay updated, stay prepared, and keep safe.

📢 CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 27, Series of 2026, classes in all public and private schools from Kindergarten to Elementary level in the Municipality of Claveria, Cagayan are SUSPENDED on Friday, July 24, 2026, due to Tropical Depression "KIYAPO."
The Municipal Government of Claveria encourages everyone to remain vigilant, prioritize safety, and monitor official announcements for further updates.

Forecast rainfall may be higher in mountainous and elevated areas. Moreover, impacts in some areas may be worsened by significant antecedent rainfall.

The public disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measure to protect life and property. PAGASA Regional Services Divisions may issue Heavy Rainfall Warnings/Thunderstorms Advisories, and other severe weather information specific to their areas of responsibility as appropriate.

Unless significant changes occur, the next Weather Advisory will be issued at 11:00 AM today.

A 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 provides forecasts for the next three hours and applies up to the municipal level. It is more precise as it utilizes Doppler radar technology to track real-time rainfall intensity, making it highly effective for immediate decision-making in flood-prone areas. A 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲, on the other hand, covers a 24-hour period but is issued only at the provincial level. It provides a broader outlook on potential weather disturbances but lacks the short-term accuracy of 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬. For class suspensions or other official decisions, please refer to 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 issued by the respective PAGASA Regional Services Divisions.

| Suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas sa pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Bayan ng Claveria, Huwebes, June, 18 2026.

Ang suspensiyon ng klase ay alinsunod sa inilabas na directive ng ating Local Chief Executive bilang pag-iingat at pagtiyak sa kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral dahil sa "POWER OUTAGE" at kasabay na nararanasang "INIT NG PANAHON" sa ating bayan.

Pinapayuhan ang mga paaralan na magsagawa ng alternative learning modalities upang hindi maantala ang pag-aaral ng mga estudyante.
