The second day of the week's field survey activities started with a nerve-wracking morning on the highway turned into a profound testament to faith and public service,
The technical convoy was moving at a cautious, low velocity toward the target landholding, with the Technical Support Services (TSS) and the Senior Agrarian Reform Program Technologist (SARPT) leading the way. Glancing into their side mirrors, the lead team watched in horror as a stray dog suddenly darted across the pavement, cutting directly into the path of the trailing Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer (MARPO). MARPO's Arnel motorcycle slid out, crashing to the tarmac and pinning him underneath.
The impact left the entire team deeply shaken. In those initial, terrifying moments, MARPO Arnel lay pinned and immobile. He later recounted that as the motorbike slowly slid down, he distinctly heard a cracking sound in his knees โbelieving his leg had been severely fractured, which prevented him from moving away quickly.
Yet, in what the team can only describe as a moment of divine protection, a swift assessment revealed that no bones were broken. MARPO Arnel escaped with only minor bruises and contusions to his foot and knee.
โ"We are profoundly thankful to God for His miraculous hands and for ensuring our safety," Reflecting on how close the incident came to being a disaster. "It is truly a miracle that the injury we feared didn't happen."
Showing the incredible grit typical of frontline public servants, MARPO Arnel brushed off the shock, refused to head back to the office, and insisted on proceeding directly to the survey site.
โDriven by that momentum, the team arrived on-site and immediately began executing the relocation and subdivision survey in the landholding of ADOLFO DY,v ET AL, embraced by Title No. T-6763, with survey no. Psu-05-000352, located at Nonoc, Claveria, Masbate.
Successfully ran traverses, partitioned the 20 hectares into seven individual lots, and ensured every boundary was properly monumented with concrete markers on the ground.
