𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗘𝗦 | 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

On 280900H MAY 2026 The Reserve Officers' Training Corps proudly conducted the Closing Ceremonies for the Basic and Advance Cadets of School Year 2025–2026, marking the culmination of months of rigorous training, leadership development, and commitment to service.

The ceremony was graced by our Guest Speaker, LTC LEONCITO I. GREZULA JR INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, 58th Infantry Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, whose inspiring message emphasized the importance of discipline, patriotism, leadership, and selfless service to the nation.

Also present during the activity were our distinguished guests:
• MAJ KEENAN B. ARGUELLES (INF) PA Commandant
• CPT KIM MICHAEL ANGELO R. MIRAFLORES PA (RES), Personnel Officer, 1001st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion

This significant occasion recognized the accomplishments, dedication, and perseverance of our cadets as they successfully completed their respective training programs. May the values and lessons learned throughout their ROTC journey continue to guide them as responsible citizens and future leaders of our nation.

LOOK || USTP–Claveria proudly participated in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) M16 Rifle Assemble and Disassemble held at University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines – Lapasan Campus, Cagayan de Oro City , on 231000H MAY 2026. Demonstrating discipline, excellence, teamwork, and commitment in upholding the highest standards of service and leadership.

The activity concluded at 1200H with a proper dismissal.

USTP–Claveria ROTC cadets sharpened their focus and strengthened their marksmanship skills during the Basic Marksmanship Training — proving that true leadership begins with discipline and responsibility.

On 151300H May 2026, the USTP–Claveria ROTC Unit conducted its scheduled Basic Marksmanship Training. The activity focused on enhancing the cadets’ knowledge and skills in firearm safety, proper handling, aiming techniques, and shooting fundamentals, while upholding the discipline and responsibility expected of every ROTC cadet.

The training emphasized the importance of concentration, control, safety awareness, and confidence in handling fi****ms. Throughout the session, cadets demonstrated discipline, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to improving their marksmanship skills.

The activity concluded at 1700H with a systematic dismissal, reflecting the cadets’ dedication to discipline, leadership, and excellence.

The training emphasized the importance of teamwork, unity, and executing commands with confidence and accuracy. Throughout the session, cadets demonstrated strong discipline and a clear commitment to improving their skills.

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army joins the nation in commemorating the 505th Anniversary of Lapu-Lapu—honoring the triumph of his warriors over foreign forces in the historic Battle of Mactan on April 27, 1521.

More than a victory, his legacy lives on as a symbol of courage and resistance. Today, Rajah Lapu-Lapu stands as a testament to the ideals of every reservist—reflected in the patch worn by every member of the AFP Reserve Force, a constant reminder that the spirit of the Citizen Army remains ready to serve, stand, and defend the Filipino people.
