Stronger Barangays, Brighter Future for Compostela!

Our local officials are taking proactive steps toward development! Last September 28โ€“30, 2026, representatives from Barangay Aurora, Bagongon, Gabi, Lagab, New Alegria, Ngan, Panansalan, Poblacion, and Siocon gathered at the Royale House Hotel and Dormitel in Tagum City for the Updating of Risk-Sensitive BDP &Mainstreaming of CDRA and GEDSI Writeshop.

What does this actually mean for us?

Together, our community leaders carefully planned, discussed, and updated blueprints for better, safer, and more progressive communities in the years ahead. This includes identifying key needs of our residentsโ€”ranging from infrastructure and livelihood programs to essential social services.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the barangay captains, officials, and community members. Your steadfast dedication and tireless efforts remain the cornerstone of our local progress.

The Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) has once again proven its unwavering commitment to public service by securing 1st Place in the Office Performance Commitment Review (OPCR) for the 1st Semester of CY 2026!

Holding the top spot consecutively for two years (2025โ€“2026), MPDO achieved an outstanding rating of 4.98 (Very Satisfactory)โ€”a testament to efficient planning, dedication, and service excellence across the entire municipality.

This continuous success is made possible through the visionary leadership of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Levi S. Ebdao, the proactive direction of Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator EnP. Khwaryne G. Caรฑetan, and the hard work, synergy, and untiring efforts of the entire MPDO workforce.
