The National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) conducted a comprehensive field verification and ground-checking activity in the municipality.

This activity validated local infrastructure and actual land cover on the ground, ensuring that our geographic data is precise, updated, and reliable. Accurate maps are crucial for effective urban planning, disaster preparedness, and sustainable community development.

Today, February 16, 2026, the Provincial Land Use Committee conducted review and assessment of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance (CLUP/ZO) CY 2026-2035 of the Municipality of Compostela, Davao de Oro.

The review provided valuable insights and recommendations to further improve the Municipality’s land use planning framework.

Moreover, Municipal Mayor Levi S. Ebdao together with the Municipal Department Heads expressed their sincere gratitude to the Committee.
