PDRA - OPCEN ACTIVATION & MEETING led by Punong Barangay Francisco E. Gante, the Barangay PDRA - OPCEN conducted a meeting at the Barangay Hall of Banban, Conner, Apayao.

This is to prepare and remind everyone regarding incoming tropical storm (NOUL):

✓Residents near Banban Creek, Umnay Creek, and low-lying areas - prepare essentials & stay alert for possible flooding

✓Those living in landslide/Flood - prone zone - evacuate early to designated Evacuation Barangay Hall, Daycare Center & Banban ES

✓Farmers & livestocks owners- secure your crops & animals to prevent damage & losses Please keep updated with official announcements & cooperate for everyone's safety!

UPDATE: PREPARATION FOR TYPHOON"INDAY"
(INTERNATIONAL NAME: BAVI)

The BDC-DRRM Council held a Special meeting today as part of proactive preparations for the incoming weather disturbance with international name BAVI, locally named
"INDAY".

Key discussion focused on the immediate activation of our Barangay Operation Center (OPCEN), readiness of evacuation sites, deployment of response teams and close monitoring of flood-prone and high-risk areas in the Barangay.

Please stay updated for further announcements and strictly follow all safety guidelines from authorities. Let us all stay safe!
