IN PHOTO: Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials and other youth representatives from the Municipality of Conner participated in a Leadership Training cm Year-End Party held on December 18, 2025 at the EKB Clubhouse, Caglayan, Conner, Apayao.

Mr. Shariff B. Eboy as the resource speaker shared insights on effective leadership, responsibility, and the vital role of the youth in community development. The training aimed to enhance the participants’ leadership skills and encourage active involvement in local governance.

The event also served as a year-end gathering, allowing youth leaders to reflect on the year’s activities, strengthen camaraderie, and celebrate their shared accomplishments.

The Municipality of Conner proudly attended the BRyA Youth Summit on November 14 and was awarded Best Presenter.

The presentation was delivered by SK Federation President Montes Moyaen and Tristan Kurt Bugay Edel, showcasing Conner’s commitment to youth leadership, innovation, and community development.

In support of the Department of Health’s 8-Point Action Agenda—specifically the pillar “Ginhawa ng Isip at Damdamin” which highlights the importance of strengthened mental health and psychosocial support—the Provincial Health Office conducted a Post Implementation Review (PIR) with peer facilitators and the oversight committee on November 5–6, 2025 at Villa Saturnina, Santa Ana, Cagayan.

SK Federation President Montes Moyaen was honored to share insights and speak on the importance of mental health among adolescents, reinforcing the collective commitment to building responsive, accessible, and sustainable mental health programs across academic institutions.

This initiative aims to raise awareness, promote protection, and strengthen the advocacy for a safer and more informed community.

The activity was conducted in partnership with Mrs. Madelyne Maslang, Ms. Crystal Kittong, LYDO Ronnie Ocampo, and Board Member Vincent Talattag.

However, students who are already beneficiaries of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES), Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) and CHED Scholarship Programs (CSPs) , and other national government-funded Student Financial Assistance Program (StuFAPs) are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply. Recipients of Apayao Students' Assistance Program (ASAP) sponsored by the Provincial Government of Apayao are also NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
