Today, we proudly celebrate the 457th Cebu Provincial Charter Day, commemorating the establishment of the Province of Cebu on August 6, 1569, making it the first province organized under the Spanish colonial government in the Philippines. This historic milestone marked the beginning of Cebu's role as a center of governance, culture, trade, and progress in the Visayas.

For over four and a half centuries, Cebu has remained a symbol of resilience, heritage, and innovation. As proud Sugboanons, may we continue to honor the sacrifices and achievements of those who came before us while working together to build a stronger, more empowered, and more progressive Cebu for future generations.

The TaYOUTHranon Emergency Response Team (TERT) proudly joined the observance of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, reaffirming our commitment to promoting disaster preparedness, emergency response, and community resilience. Through continuous training, teamwork, and volunteerism, we remain dedicated to protecting and serving the people of Tayud.

As the youth's frontline partners in times of emergencies, we continue to uphold the spirit of service, because a resilient community begins with prepared individuals. Together, we move forward toward a safer, stronger, and more resilient Tayud.

The heat was on, the flavors were bold, and the energy was unmatched as our TaYOUTHranon culinary talents showcased their creativity in the much-awaited MasterChef SK Tayud. From the careful selection of ingredients to the final plating, every participant brought passion and originality to the table, making the competition truly worth celebrating.

Congratulations to our champion, Ervien Melgo of Sitio Pagutlan, for serving an outstanding dish and taking home the victory.

Thank you to all the participants, supporters, and everyone who made this event a success. Stay tuned for more meaningful activities that continue to bring out the best in our youth.
