The Sangguniang Kabataan of Poblacion Occidental is officially opening the courts for the MAYORโ€™S CUP: PICKLEBALL TRYOUTS! Whether you are a seasoned player looking to dominate the court or an emerging talent ready to step into the competitive scene, this is your chance to represent our barangay on the big stage.

We are looking for dedicated, passionate, and high-energy athletes to form the official Poblacion Occidental Pickleball Team. Bring your A-game, show your skills, and prove you have what it takes!

Requirements:

1. Open to all 4th year Students ๐Œ๐”๐’๐“ be a registered voter of Barangay Poblacion Occidental (the applicant itself, not parents nor guardians)
2. Certificate of Enrollment (2 copies)
3. School ID
4. Duly filled up application form (claim at the Barangay)
5. ๐Œ๐”๐’๐“ belong to a low-income or vulnerable household
6. ๐Œ๐”๐’๐“ be the first graduate of the family or siblings

Reminders:

1. Chosen five (5) beneficiary of the scholarship program will be monitored by the Barangay.

2. Failure to graduate within the year must refund the โ‚ฑ20,000 one-time financial assistance.

3. Upon submission of the requirements for the one-time educational financial assistance worth โ‚ฑ20,000, the applicant certifies that all information and documentation being submitted are true and accurate, that if in cases there is a false statement, misrepresentation, or submission of fraudulent documents this may result to disqualification of his application, cancellation and may subject to appropriate legal action, including liability under applicable laws of perjury and other offenses.

4. Submission of documents is from ๐€๐ฎ๐  ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—-๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, deadline on August 21, 2026, 5PM, NO extension.

On August 16, 2026, the first-ever Crossfire Tournament of Poblacion Occidental successfully concluded, powered by DB Internet Shop. This activity was held in alignment with the vibrant celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, showcasing the passion, strategic skill, and competitive spirit of our local esports community.

After a series of intense matches and heart-pounding action, three teams rose above the competition:

Champion: Team Sagrada
1st Runner-Up: Team Haliwud
2nd Runner-Up: Team Villaroca

A huge congratulations to all our winners and to every team that gave it their all!

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to DB Internet Shop for powering this tournament, as well as to our dedicated organizers, working team members, and supporters who made this milestone event a massive success. Thank you for empowering our youth through esports!
