ICYMI: The Ibabao Youth Circle is YORP-Registered since October 21, 2022.

The Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) is a program of the National Youth Commission (NYC) that facilitates the registration of youth and youth-serving organizations to ensure access and participation to NYC-initiated programs nationwide and provide support programs pursuant to Republic Act 8044 or Youth in Nation Building Act. Through the nationwide registration, NYC links up with youth to provide a meaningful and active participation in its programs.

As a YORP- registered organization, the organization may now enjoy the following privileges as provided for in the 2018 Revitalized Youth Organization Registration (YORP) Guidelines;
a. To be represented in congresses and activities exclusively for YORP- registered organizations;
b. To use the YORP Seal on your letters, publications, uniforms, collaterals, and other materials;
c. To access for free organizational training programs offered by National Youth Commission (NYC);
d. To request for promotion of organization-initiated programs, projects and activities through the NYC's media outlets.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Ibabao, Cordova, Cebu through SK Chairperson Hon. Janice A. Ochea and SK Treasurer Mr. Usley Kent S. Reyes successfully opened their Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) official bank account in DBP Mandaue Branch on January 26, 2023.

As stated in Section 20 (b) of the Republic Act No. 10742 or the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, the SK shall have financial independence in its operations, disbursements and encashment of their funds, income and expenditures. As such, the Sk funds shall be deposited in the name of the SK of the concerned barangay in a government-owned bank situated in or nearest to its area of jurisdiction with the SK chairperson and the SK treasurer as the official signatories.
