Atty. Sha Elijah B. Dumama-Alba, MP, is a lawyer and public servant who served as a Member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) and as Floor Leader of the Bangsamoro Parliament from September 2022 to October 2025. She also served as Chairperson of the Committee on Rules and Vice-Chairperson of the Statutory Committee on the Bangsamoro Justice System. She was appointed as the Bangsamoro Attorney General in 2019, where she led initiatives to strengthen the Shariโ€™ah justice system and promote the Tri-Justice System in BARMM. She also served as Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Relations Body (IGRB), facilitating cooperation between the National Government and the Bangsamoro Government.

Prior to her appointment as Bangsamoro Attorney General, she served as Deputy Executive Director of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission, Attorney VI of the Civil Service Commissionโ€“ARMM, and a member of the Coordinating Team for Transition that helped draft the transition plan from ARMM to BARMM. Atty. Dumama-Alba earned her BA in Public Administration from UP Diliman and her law degree from San Beda College Mendiola. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2008 and placed third in the 2018 Special Shariโ€™ah Bar Examinations.
