Datu Abdullah Sangki, Maguindanao del Sur โ The Office of former Member of Parliament Ali B. Sangki officially turned over a newly constructed two-storey Barangay Hall to the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Old Maganoy on June 30, 2025.
The infrastructure project was funded under the Transitional Development and Impact Fund (TDIF) for Fiscal Year 2023 through the initiative of former MP Sangki, in partnership with the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) as the implementing agency.
Punong Barangay Mohammad Jimmy D. Ampatuan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to MP Sangki and the MILG for their commitment to public service and local development. โThis building will serve not just as an office, but as a symbol of service and progress for our community,โ he said.
The ceremonial turnover was graced by Hon. Samsodhen A. Sangki, Vice Mayor of Datu Abdullah Sangki Municipality, alongside SSG Nerry Serra, Detachment Commander of the 33rd Infantry Battalion, who attended to show support and solidarity.
MILG Minister Atty. Sha Elijah D. Alba was represented during the program by Julrashed C. Kasid, MBA.
In his message, former MP Ali B. Sangki emphasized that the project reflects his vision and commitment to strengthening local governance in the Bangsamoro region. โThis facility is part of our broader effort to uphold moral governance by equipping local governments with the tools they need to serve their constituents effectively,โ he said.
The turnover marks another milestone in advancing grassroots governance and sustainable development in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
