𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛: PALM OIL OPPORTUNITIES IN BARMM: GROWING AN INDUSTRY, BUILDING A FUTURE

The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is emerging as a promising frontier for palm oil investments, with the potential to develop a stronger and more integrated palm oil value chain—from plantation development and farmer partnerships to milling, processing, logistics, and downstream industries.

According to the Philippine Palm Oil Industry Roadmap 2024–2033, data from the Philippine Palm Development Council, Inc. (PPDCI) identifies approximately 103,000 hectares of potential area for oil palm development in BARMM. This places the Bangsamoro among the significant potential areas for palm oil development in the Philippines.

But BARMM is not starting from zero.

The region already has an emerging palm oil industry supported by existing and developing investments, including:

🌴 Agumil Philippines, Inc. – Maguindanao del Sur
🌴 DALG Oil Palm Corp. – Lanao del Sur
🌴 Kenram Palm Oil Industries – Basilan

These investments demonstrate the potential to connect the region's agricultural resources with farmers, cooperatives, processing facilities, markets, and downstream industries.

With the right investments, responsible land development, technology, infrastructure, and strong partnerships with Bangsamoro farmers, palm oil can become a long-term engine for rural development, employment, value creation, and inclusive economic growth.

The message to investors is clear:

The opportunity is here. The potential is vast. The time to build is now.

Choose BARMM. Grow with the Bangsamoro. Invest in the future of palm oil.

Do It in BARMM. Invest with Purpose for Economic Jihad.
