OCM Technical Management Service Conducts PCR Validation for Project TABANG

IN PHOTOS | The Technical Management Service (TMS) of the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) conducted a validation of the Performance Commitment and Review (PCR) of the Project Management Office (PMO) of Project TABANG on 27 August 2026.

The validation aimed to assess and verify the PMO’s accomplishments, performance indicators, and deliverables against its established commitments and targets. It also provided an opportunity to review the implementation of Project TABANG’s programs and activities and ensure alignment with the mandates and priorities of the Office of the Chief Minister.

The activity forms part of the OCM’s continuing efforts to strengthen performance management, accountability, and effective program implementation across its offices and projects.

OCM–Project TABANG Joins Reintegration Activity for Former ASG Member

BONGAO, Tawi-Tawi — The Office of the Chief Minister (OCM)–Project TABANG joined the “Reintegration of Former ASG Member” activity led by the Tawi-Tawi Police Provincial Office under the leadership of Provincial Director Col. Byron F. Allatog on August 21, 2026, at Camp Alejandro Suarez, Barangay Poblacion, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

The activity aimed to demonstrate the government’s support for the return and reintegration of a former Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) member into peaceful community life and provide assistance for his transition toward a more stable and productive future.

As part of OCM–Project TABANG’s support, the former ASG member received five sacks of rice and two boxes of grocery items to help address his immediate daily needs and support his new beginning.

The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG), and the Provincial Government of Tawi-Tawi also participated in the activity, providing financial assistance, food items, and other support packages to the beneficiary.

The joint efforts of various government agencies underscore the importance of a coordinated approach in advancing peace, reintegration, and inclusive community development. Beyond material assistance, the program conveys the government’s commitment to giving individuals who choose to abandon violence and embrace peaceful living an opportunity to rebuild their lives and become productive members of society.

Through sustained coordination and collaboration among government institutions, OCM–Project TABANG and its partner agencies continue to support initiatives that strengthen trust, peace, and unity among communities in Tawi-Tawi.

Project TABANG Management Office Holds Mid-Year Assessment Activity

DAVAO CITY — The Project TABANG Management Office, headed by Project Manager Brahim P. Lacua, conducted its Mid-Year Assessment Activity on August 17–20, 2026, to review the project’s accomplishments, assess ongoing operations, and strengthen its strategic direction for the remainder of the year.

The activity aimed to reaffirm the fundamental values and ethical principles of Project TABANG, assess its accomplishments and operational performance, and strengthen its advocacy and mandates as one of the flagship programs of the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM). The initiative remains anchored on the goal of bringing the Bangsamoro Government closer to the Bangsamoro people, in line with the Mas Matatag na Bangsamoro Agenda of Chief Minister Abdulraof “Sammy Gambar” Macacua.

During the assessment, Planning and Research Head Sajid P. Namla and Monitoring and Evaluation Head Norodin K. Donton spearheaded discussions and presentations on the project’s accomplishments, operational plans, targets, and catch-up strategies for the remaining months of the year.

The activity was attended by Project TABANG unit heads, officers, and personnel, who presented and discussed their respective accomplishments, remaining physical targets, operational plans, and strategies to ensure the effective implementation of the project’s programs and services.

The mid-year assessment served as an avenue for reflection, coordination, and strategic planning, reinforcing the commitment of the Project TABANG Management Office to responsive, efficient, and people-centered service for the Bangsamoro.

TABANG Updates:

IN PHOTOS | Project TABANG, through the Ayuda Alay sa Bangsamoro (ALAB) program, distributed 10-kilogram sacks of rice and food supplies to residents of Barangay Agakan, Barangay Inog-og, and Inog-og Proper in the Municipality of Pagalungan, Maguindanao del Sur.

The assistance was delivered under the leadership of Chief Minister Abdulraof “Sammy Gambar” Macacua and through the management of Project Manager Brahim P. Lacua, as part of the Bangsamoro Government’s continuing efforts to provide immediate food assistance and responsive humanitarian services to grassroots communities.

The initiative reflects the commitment of Project TABANG to advance the Agenda by bringing essential government assistance closer to vulnerable communities and ensuring that no Bangsamoro is left behind.

TABANG Updates:

IN PHOTOS | Project TABANG extended relief assistance to families affected by flooding in Sitio Dunguan, Barangay Bulucaon, Municipality of Pigcawayan, Province of Cotabato, on 3 August 2026.

Through the Ayuda Alay sa Bangsamoro (ALAB) Program under its Humanitarian Response and Services Component, Project TABANG distributed 180 sacks of 25-kilogram rice and food packs to help address the immediate needs of the affected families.

The relief distribution was conducted in coordination with local and barangay officials to ensure the orderly and efficient delivery of assistance to the intended beneficiaries.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Abdulrauf “Sammy Gambar” Macacua and the management of Project TABANG Project Manager Brahim P. Lacua, Project TABANG remains committed to providing timely humanitarian assistance and bringing the services of the Bangsamoro Government closer to communities in need.

ALL ABOUT PROJECT TABANG:

Project Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan (Project TABANG) is one of the flagship special programs of the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The program provides humanitarian assistance, health services, and livelihood support to Bangsamoro communities affected by poverty, conflict, disasters, and other emergencies, in line with the Bangsamoro Government’s commitment to “Bring the Bangsamoro Government Closer to the Bangsamoro People,” while advancing Moral Governance and the Mas Matatag na Bangsamoro Agenda.

Project TABANG implements its services through three major components: Health Ancillary Services, Livelihood Support, and Humanitarian Response and Services. These are delivered through its flagship sub-programs: Ayuda Alay sa Bangsamoro (ALAB), Humanitarian for Orphanages, Markadz, Elderlies, and Persons with Special Needs (HOMES), Oplan Bangsamoro Rapid Assistance (OBRA), Serbisyong Ayudang Medikal (SAM), and Libreng Gamot para sa Bangsamoro.

As a convergence platform, Project TABANG coordinates with BARMM ministries, agencies, and offices to deliver integrated services across the Bangsamoro region and other Bangsamoro communities. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Abdulraof “Sammy Gambar” A. Macacua, through the management of Project Manager Brahim P. Lacua, the program continues to strengthen humanitarian response, improve access to essential services, and promote inclusive and compassionate governance for every Bangsamoro.

IN PHOTOS | Project TABANG’s Humanitarian Response and Services Component distributed rice and food packs to flood-affected communities in Maguindanao del Sur on Wednesday, 29 July 2026.

In response to the recent flooding in Maguindanao del Sur, Project TABANG, through the Ayuda Alay sa Bangsamoro (ALAB) Program under its Humanitarian Response and Services Component, distributed 1,000 rice and food packs to affected families in the Municipalities of Buluan, Paglat, and Datu Paglas.

Together with the provincial government of Maguindanao del Sur under Governor Ali Midtimbang and Vice Governor Hisham Nando, the distribution reaffirms the provincial government’s commitment to the welfare of its constituents as their presence likewise underscored Project TABANG’s mandate to deliver timely humanitarian assistance to communities in need, bringing hope and relief to families affected by the floods.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Abdulrauf “Sammy Gambar” Macacua and management of Project TABANG Project Manager Brahim P.
