𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘬𝘶𝘮 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘩𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘩𝘪 𝘸𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘩!

The Bangsamoro Land Transportation Office (BLTO) announces its work arrangement schedule, in accordance with the Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 114 and Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) Memorandum Circular No. 0049.

During this period, all BLTO offices, licensing centers, and inspection facilities shall operate from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, for all official transactions and services.

On Fridays, there will be no transactions.

This schedule applies to all official transaction and services until further notice.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) clarifies that the LTO-IT System is NOT replacing the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS). Both systems remain operational under the LTO's existing dual-system arrangement.

Memorandum MVL-2026-095 directed Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, Assemblers, Importers, and Dealers (MAIDs) to use the LTO-IT System for specific dealer reporting transactions Stocks Reporting and Sales Reporting in light of the lapse of the LTMS maintenance contract for those transaction types. This is a targeted, interim measure, not a system-wide replacement.

The dual-system arrangement is a lawful risk management measure under the Build-Operate-Own Phase Out Agreement governing the LTO-IT System. It ensures that LTO frontline services remain uninterrupted under any operational or legal scenario affecting either system.

The LTO will issue further guidance as warranted. The public is assured that all core services vehicle registration, driver's licensing, and law enforcement adjudication continue without disruption.

As we approach Fire Prevention Month, the Bangsamoro Land Transportation Office (BLTO) extends its sincere appreciation to the Cotabato City Fire Station - BARMM and SFO3 Hexter Jan C (Chief, Community Relation Unit) and its team, for conducting a comprehensive safety awareness and preventive measures information drive held on February 13, 2026 at the BLTO Conference Room.

Here are the essential safety reminders shared during the session:

𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 & 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆
• Prevent Overloading: Avoid exceeding your home's electrical capacity (amperes) with too many occupants, as this is a leading cause of fire.
• Install Circuit Breakers: Ensure you have functional breakers to protect against short circuits.
• Gas Station Caution: Never use mobile phones while refueling; sparks can ignite gasoline fumes.

𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗥𝗔 8749)
• Under the Clean Air Act, burning trash is strictly prohibited and carries an administrative fine of P5,000.00.
• Burning waste releases Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS). Use your local Material Recovery Facility (MRF) instead.

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗧𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦)
To operate an extinguisher, remember TPASS: 𝗧wist the pin, 𝗣ull the pin, 𝗔im the nozzle at the base of the fire, 𝗦queeze the lever, and 𝗦wift side-by-side motion (check wind direction)

𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗽: The chemicals do not expire, but the warranty for servicing and refills does. Keep your units maintained.
