Important Reminders:

✅Pets should be 3 months old and above.

✅Dogs must be on a leash, and cats must be in a secure cage/carrier.

The Office of the City Veterinarian, headed by Dr. Robert Malcontento, and the entire OCVet team successfully castrated a total of 233 dogs and cats during the PET Summit activity in celebration of the 67th Araw ng Cotabato.

This remarkable achievement reflects the city’s commitment to responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and sustainable pet depopulation program.

Kudos to everyone involved for making this meaningful initiative a success! 🐾🎉🐈🐶

Important reminder!!!

Free castration for dogs and cats for June 17, 2026 l 8am are exclusively for owners who have pre-registered during Pet Summit last June 13, 2026. Only fifty (50) pets will be accommodated tomorrow (Wednesday, June 17, 2026) due to the limited availability of anesthetic.

Requirements:
✅Male cats and male dogs must be 6 months old to 3 years old
✅Must be healthy
✅Fasting 8 hours before surgery
✅One pet per owner
✅ No walk-ins will be accepted
