The Bureau of Local Government Finance - BARMM successfully conducted Batch 2 Mainland: a comprehensive 3-day joint training from August 10-13, 2026 at Chali Resort and Convention Hotel, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.

The training covered LGUs from Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, and the Cities of Cotabato and Marawi.

The intensive sessions focused on two critical pillars of local governance:
Basic Operations of Local Treasury – Tailored for Local Treasurers and their technical staff
Real Property Tax Record Management – Designed for Local Assessors and their technical staff

We were honored to have our esteemed keynote speakers guide the event:

The BLGF BARMM conducted a Treasury and Assessment Performance Evaluation for the Municipality of Pandag, Maguindanao del Sur. This activity forms part of the BLGF’s mandate under the Local Government Code of 1991, which vests upon the Bureau the administrative supervision over local treasury operations and technical supervision over assessment offices.

The evaluation aims to assess the fiscal performance of the local government unit, ensure compliance with prescribed standards and fiscal policies, and reinforce fiscal discipline, transparency, and accountability in local governance.

Thank you, LGU Pandag Maguindanao Del Sur, for the warm welcome and cooperation extended to the BLGF BARMM team during the conduct of this activity.
