Spent part of the day with our breastfeeding moms in RH-11 for National Breastfeeding Awareness Month. 🤱

Breastfeeding becomes a little easier when mothers know they have people around them who will help, from their husbands and families to our health workers and barangay.

Sa ika-55th Regular Session ngayong araw, ipinagpatuloy natin ang mga nakahaing trabaho sa Sanggunian, kabilang ang Second Reading ng proposed Healthy School Food Environment Ordinance.

Isa sa mga gusto nating ayusin dito ay ang food choices na available sa loob at paligid ng mga paaralan, para mas may maayos at healthier na options ang ating mga estudyante.

In shaa Allah, maipasa natin ito nang maayos at maging kapaki-pakinabang sa ating mga students, parents, teachers, at sa ating mga schools.

Alhamdulillah! Cotabato City achieved 100% coverage in the 2026 Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity.

Saludo po tayo sa ating Cotabato City Health Office, healthcare workers, barangay health workers, at lahat ng partners na nagbahay-bahay at nagsikap upang maabot at mabakunahan ang bawat eligible na bata sa lungsod.

Maraming salamat sa Ministry of Health - BARMM, sa pamumuno ni Minister Dr. MP Kadil Jojo M. Sinolinding Jr., MD, DPBO, sa patuloy na suporta sa immunization programs ng Cotabato City.

Congratulations sa MRSIA Operations Center Team at sa pitong health clusters. Ang tagumpay na ito ay bunga ng inyong sipag sa field at ng pakikiisa ng mga magulang para maprotektahan ang ating mga anak laban sa measles at rubella.

From a simple invitation to a full court, naging matagumpay ang ating kauna-unahang Pickleball Open Play.

Mahigit 600 ang nag-register, kaya malinaw na patuloy na lumalaki ang pickleball community sa Cotabato City. Dahil limitado ang slots, marami ang hindi natin naisama sa unang round, pero In shaa Allah, magkakaroon pa tayo ng susunod na Open Play para mas marami ang mabigyan ng pagkakataong makasali.

Bilang Chairman ng Committee on Health, Sanitation and Nutrition, bahagi ito ng ating advocacy to encourage people to move more, stay active, and choose a healthier lifestyle. Sa pamamagitan ng accessible sports activities tulad ng pickleball, mas nagiging enjoyable ang exercise habang nabubuo rin ang friendship, discipline, at sportsmanship.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng players, organizers, partners, at supporters na naging bahagi ng event. Congratulations sa ating winners, at kita-kits sa susunod na round!

Safe drinking water for our communities and healthier food choices for our students are among the concerns we continue to act on through legislation. Sa 54th Regular Session, tayo po ay nag-sponsor ng isang resolution recognizing water refilling stations in Cotabato City with valid Permits to Operate.

Naisalang din sa Second Reading ang proposed Healthy School Food Environment Ordinance, kung saan natalakay ang Article 1. Ipagpapatuloy natin ang deliberation sa susunod na session upang masigurong malinaw, practical, at responsive sa pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan ang bawat provision.

As part of his continuing efforts to promote health, wellness, and an active lifestyle, Councilor Mohamad Ali “Dats” Mangelen invites everyone to join our Pickleball Open Play on August 4, 2026 (Tuesday), from 7:00 PM to 12:00 MN at JNJJ Pickle-Yard.

Whether you’re a first-time player or already enjoying the sport, everyone is welcome to join!
