ALAMIN | 𝐊𝐚𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧

Patuloy ang suporta ng Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XII sa Lanao Urban Farmers Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Association sa Kidapawan City para sa kanilang zero-hunger initiative.

Nitong Martes, September 1, personal na binisita ni DSWD Undersecretary Fatima Aliah Dimaporo at DSWD 12 Regional Director Loreto Jr. V. Cabaya ang proyekto upang matiyak ang maayos na pagpapatupad ng programa.

Sa ilalim ng Zero-Hunger Program, nakatanggap ang asosasyon ng P475,000 na pondo na ginamit sa pagsisimula ng hydroponics lettuce production.

Pinuri ng mga opisyal ang pagpupursige at katatagan ng asosasyon upang higit pang mapalago ang proyekto.

Ipinahayag naman ng mga miyembro ang kanilang pasasalamat sa DSWD sa pagtulong nito sa kanilang mga programa.

Ang lumalagong proyekto ng asosasyon ay sumisimbolo sa patuloy na suporta ng DSWD sa mga benepisyaryo at sa kanilang kabuhayan.

Personal na binisita at nasaksihan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII ang pagpapatupad ng Project LAWA at BINHI Food for Work Rehabilitation and Harvest sa Barangay Mabuhay, President Roxas nitong Martes, September 1.

Tampok sa aktibidad ang patuloy na pagsisikap ng ahensya na suportahan ang mga komunidad sa pamamagitan ng climate-resilient livelihood at rehabilitation initiatives.

Isinusulong din ng inisyatiba ang food security, pangangalaga sa kalikasan, at aktibong partisipasyon ng mamamayan.

Ang aktibidad ay pinangunahan nina DSWD XII Regional Director Loreto Jr. V. Cabaya, President Roxas Mayor Jaime Mahimpit at Vice Mayor Jonathan Mahimpit.

Sa sama-samang hakbang ng mga benepisyaryo, lokal na pamahalaan ng President Roxas, at DSWD, ipinapakita ng proyekto ang pagkakaisa ng komunidad tungo sa isang matatag na pamayanan.

TINGNAN | Ininspeksyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang Aquino Bridge sa Tarlac matapos itong mapinsala dahil sa malakas na agos ng tubig sa ilog dulot ng malakas na pag-ulan.

Ipinag-utos ng Pangulo sa DPWH ang agarang pagsasaayos ng tulay upang matiyak ang normal at ligtas na daloy ng transportasyon sa mga apektadong lugar.
