A meaningful gathering of tourism stakeholders and representatives from Agoncillo, Alitagtag, San Nicolas, Sta. Teresita, and Padre Garcia, hosted by the Local Government Unit of Cuenca, Batangas.
The assembly served as a platform for meaningful exchange of ideas, experiences, and initiatives toward strengthening collaboration and advancing tourism development across the province.
Our Mayor, Hon. Alexander M. Magpantay, Vice Mayor, Hon. Aurea P. Pantas, and Our Committee Chairperson on Tourism, Hon. Arwin M. Abe, warmly welcomed our participants, explained the potential and growth of the tourism in Cuenca, and even showed why Cuenca is Home of the Bakers. Mayor Alex provided the attendees his famous brownies and butter cookies from his own Albeth Bakehouse.
The LGU Cuenca Tourism Office extends its sincere gratitude to the management of Imeldaโs Garden for the warm hospitality and generous support that helped make this gathering a success, to the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office for providing Cuenca with an opportunity to host a meaningful event, and to Mayor Alex for proving Cuenca's claim as Home of the Bakers.
