On March 22, 2025, Brgy.Bool West, Culaba, Biliran held its CY 2025 First Semester Barangay Assembly Day at the Brgy Covered Court. About 150 members of the barangay assembly attended, and a large number of invited guests, including local officials and functionaries, heads of national agencies were also present.
The Municipal Office of DILG has selected Bool West as the "Showcase Barangay" of the Municipality of Culaba. When selecting a showcase barangay for the assembly, factors like participation at the event and best practices like the LTIA, HAPAG-BCG, and KALINISAN Programs were taken into account.
DILG Biliran Provincial Office representative LGOO II Daryl Taboada formally informed the audience of the "recently concluded 2025 LTIA Provincial Assessment of which the Lupon of Brgy.Bool West was adjudged as the Provincial Winner.
In order to guarantee the successful and efficient implementation of all Brgy PPAs towards a peaceful, safe, resilient, and progressive barangay, the activity seeks to clarify issues and concerns and promote involvement and cooperation of the many barangay stakeholders.
LGOO VI Engr. Richie S. Peรฑaflor-MLGOO restated the results of the 2025 LTIA Provincial Assessment in his concluding remarks, whereby Brgy. Bool West, the Province of Biliran's LTIA winner, reached the top once more. Additionally, he underlined that the barangay's Lupon had won the LTIA Provincial Title three times in a succession (2023, 2024, and 2025).
He further added that the Lupon should immediately begin getting ready for the LTIA Regional Onsite Validation and Assessment, which is scheduled for April 2025.
At around 8:00 p.m., the event came to an end with a raffle draw of which attendees received culinary items as prizes.
