His journey is a testament to the power of faith, the beauty of second chances, and the possibility of a new beginning. His story reminds us that the past does not define a person’s future and that every individual deserves an opportunity to change, grow, and inspire others.

On October 19, 2026, the Culasi District Jail personnel, headed by 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐀𝐥𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐀 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐧, 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧, attended the Flag Raising Ceremony and Opening Program of the 128th Municipal and Religious Fiesta held at Madja-as Confederation Park, Centro Poblacion, Culasi, Antique. The activity marked the beginning of the municipality’s annual celebration, highlighting its rich cultural heritage, religious traditions, and strong sense of community.

Through this participation, the Culasi District Jail personnel demonstrated their support for local government initiatives and community activities that promote unity, cooperation, and camaraderie among government agencies and the people they serve. CULASI DISTRICT JAIL SUPPORTS ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION THROUGH TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY

In line with the celebration of the 15th BJMP Community Relations Service Month 2026, the Culasi District Jail, headed by 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐀𝐥𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐀 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐧, 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧, conducted a Tree Planting Activity in collaboration with the personnel of DENR-CENRO Culasi on October 19, 2026, at Barangay Magsaysay, Culasi, Antique. A total of 50 narra seedlings were planted, demonstrating the collective commitment of both agencies to environmental protection and conservation.

Through this initiative, the Culasi District Jail personnel reaffirmed its commitment to environmental greening programs, climate change adaptation, and the promotion of a healthier and more sustainable environment. The activity also emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration in fostering environmental awareness, building a greener community, and preserving natural resources for future generations.

The Culasi District Jail personnel, under the supervision of 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐀𝐥𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐀 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐧, 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧, actively participated in the Color Fun Run and Lively Zumba Dance held at Madja-as Confederation Park, Centro Poblacion, Culasi, Antique.

The activity was conducted in line with the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of K5 News FM Culasi, promoting physical fitness, wellness, camaraderie, and community engagement.

Health and well-being remain a priority at Culasi District Jail. Through regular blood pressure monitoring and health assessments, the jail nurse helps ensure that Person Deprived of Liberty (PDL) receive proper attention and care for their health needs.

CULASI DISTRICT JAIL RECEIVES RICE PROVISION FOR PDL WITH DISABILITIES

On October 14, 2026, the Culasi District Jail, headed by 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐀𝐥𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐀 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐧, 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧, received five (5) sacks of rice donated by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Culasi through the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) under the supervision of Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.

The rice provision benefited five (5) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) with disabilities, demonstrating the LGU’s support for their welfare and well-being. This initiative highlights the importance of compassion, cooperation, and community partnership in addressing the needs of vulnerable individuals.
