LIBRARY UPDATE

WPS Gallery Exhibit at CASAT Library

On February 11, 2026, the BRAVO (Berserker) Company, 77th Infantry Battalion, 51D, Philippine Army, displayed a West Philippine Sea (WPS) Gallery Exhibit at the CASAT Library. The exhibit was attended by all first-year students of the Department of Fisheries and Marine Biology and some faculty members.

The exhibit featured visual materials highlighting the ecological, economic, and national significance of the West Philippine Sea. Through the gallery, students gained a deeper understanding of the role of the WPS in food security, marine biodiversity, and national sovereignty.

The activity aimed to strengthen awareness and promote responsible stewardship of marine resources among future fisheries and marine science professionals. The initiative emphasized the importance of protecting the West Philippine Sea for present and future generations.

The exhibit was displayed for the whole day.
