Poblacion 1 proudly participated in the “RC 143 Blood Donations Seminar and Workshop” held at the Currimao Mega Complex on October 24, 2025.

This important event aimed to educate the community about the crucial role that blood donation plays in saving lives across the nation. The seminar provided attendees and participants with comprehensive insights into the urgent need for blood donations and emphasized the positive impact they can have on individuals in medical emergencies. Furthermore, the workshop focused on practical strategies for encouraging individuals to donate blood voluntarily, aiming to dispel the common misconceptions and stigma associated with blood donation.

Beyond raising awareness, this activity sought to address the ongoing challenge of blood supply shortages in the country. By fostering a culture of voluntary blood donation, we hope to create a robust support system that ensures a sufficient and safe blood supply for those in need.

A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Mary Cris Saludez for accepting our invitation and joining the barangay officials as the Parent Leader of the community. Her support and leadership were invaluable in promoting this vital cause within our neighborhood.

The items you have provided will play a crucial role in enhancing the safety and security of our neighborhood, particularly during the nighttime hours. By improving the illumination in our area, we aim to minimize, if not eliminate, the potential for criminal activity, ultimately benefitting all residents in the community. Earlier today, the Barangay Officials of Poblacion 1 actively participated in a province-wide earthquake drill. This initiative is designed to bolster preparedness and ensure the safety of the public in the event of a catastrophic earthquake.
By participating, the officials not only gained valuable experience in crisis management but also reinforced the importance of community awareness and resilience in the face of natural disasters. This proactive approach underscores the commitment to safeguarding residents and promoting a culture of preparedness throughout the province.
