“Stronger Controls. Smarter Systems. Safer Funds.”

As part of the continued efforts to champion accountability and improve financial stewardship, the Office of the Internal Audit Service of the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte successfully held a Seminar-Workshop on Cash Management and Control System — a vital capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening internal controls and promoting transparency in fund handling.

State auditors from the Commission on Audit (COA) served as resource speakers, bringing valuable insights and expertise on best practices and compliance requirements.

The event gathered collecting officers, disbursing officers, and other accountable officers of the provincial government, reinforcing their crucial role in upholding integrity and efficiency in public financial operations.

Together, we move towards more transparent, accountable, and responsive governance.

“Streamlined processes, stronger governance.”

In pursuit of streamlined processes and improved operational efficiency, the Office of the Internal Audit Service of the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte recently conducted a Seminar-Workshop on Payroll Preparation and Processing.

This capacity-building activity aimed to enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of payroll transactions across all offices—supporting the Provincial Government's commitment to professionalism, compliance, and service excellence.

The seminar was attended by administrative officers and payroll clerks from the various divisions and departments of the Provincial Government, all working together to elevate the standards of internal administrative functions.

Through continuous learning and collaboration, we build a more efficient and accountable government.

To promote fiscal responsibility and strengthen the pillars of good governance, the Office of the Internal Audit Service of the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte successfully facilitated a Seminar-Workshop on Budgeting in Local Government Units (LGUs).

The activity brought together budget officers and administrative officers from various departments and divisions of the Provincial Government, focusing on enhancing their knowledge and skills in budget preparation, utilization, and compliance with applicable laws and standards.

This initiative underscores the Provincial Government’s continued commitment to accountability, transparency, and efficient resource management—ensuring that every peso is planned, spent, and monitored in the service of the people.
