The Provincial Government of Camarines Norte, through the Provincial Youth and Sports Development Office (PYSDO), hereby announces the official opening of nominations for the Gawad Bintao 2026: Search for Outstanding Youth of Camarines Norte, a recognition program under the Festival of Talents 2026 (Linggo ng Kabataan), pursuant to Republic Act No. 10742, as amended.

The Gawad Bintao recognizes and gives due acknowledgment to outstanding young individuals and youth organizations who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, meaningful community involvement, outstanding achievements, and sustained commitment to youth development and public service in the Province of Camarines Norte.

This program is open to both first-time takers and repeaters and will accommodate up to two hundred (200) qualified participants.

✅ Be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Criminology or possess a Transcript of Records (TOR);

✅ Be willing to complete the entire duration of the review program and comply with all program policies and requirements.

Successful applicants are expected to:

✔ Attend the mandatory Orientation Program;
✔ Actively participate in all review sessions and learning activities;

✔ Observe proper decorum and uphold a respectful, safe, clean, and inclusive learning environment;
✔ Accomplish and submit the Commitment Form, which will be distributed during the Orientation Program.

Matagumpay na isinagawa ang pormal na pagbubukas ng Chess Clinic sa Activity Hub, 2nd Floor, SM City Daet isang programa ng Provincial Government of Camarines Norte sa pangunguna nina Governor D**g Padilla at Vice Governor Engr. Joseph Villaverde Ascutia, bilang bahagi ng kanilang patuloy na pagsusulong ng mga programang magpapaunlad sa kakayahan, talento, at kinabukasan ng mga CamNorteño.

Sa pamamagitan ng Provincial Youth and Sports Development Office (PYSDO) sa pamumuno ni Acting Provincial Youth and Sports Development Officer Diday Romualdo Abaño, matagumpay na naisakatuparan ang nasabing programa upang mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga kabataang CamNorteño na matuto, humusay, at mas mapaunlad ang kanilang kakayahan sa larangan ng chess.

Nagbigay ng inspirasyon sa okasyon ang personal na pagdalo at buong pusong pagsuporta nina GovernorD**g Padilla, anak niya na si Ma'am Anica Padilla, at Board Member Arnulfo Balane. Ang kanilang presensya ay sumasalamin sa patuloy na pagkakaisa at dedikasyon ng pamahalaang panlalawigan sa pagtataguyod ng sports development at youth empowerment para sa mga CamNorteño.

Lubos ding nagpapasalamat ang Provincial Government of Camarines Norte sa SM City Daet, Kingmakers Chess Clinic , Mabini Chess Team, kay Coach Junar Valeros at sa Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office - Camarines Norte sa kanilang malaking suporta at pakikiisa sa programang ito. Ang ganitong uri ng pagtutulungan sa pagitan ng pamahalaan at pribadong sektor ay malaking ambag sa paglinang ng talento at pagbibigay ng mas maraming oportunidad sa mga kabataang CamNorteño.

Higit pa sa isang laro, ang chess ay humuhubog ng disiplina, kritikal na pag-iisip, at tamang pagpapasya. Sa pamamagitan ng programang ito, mas maraming CamNorteño ang magkakaroon ng pagkakataong matuto, mas humusay, at maihanda ang kanilang sarili para sa mga susunod na hamon at kompetisyon.

Sa bawat galaw ay may aral. Sa bawat laban ay may pagkakataong maging kampeon.
