𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐞𝐭, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥: 𝐀 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲

The Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), together with their respective Technical Working Group (TWG), convened on September 29 and October 1, 2025, at the Sangguniang Bayan Hall, Barangay Pamorangon, Daet, Camarines Norte, for the Formulation Workshop of the 2026–2028 Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan and the Local Anti-Drug Abuse Plan of Action (LADPA).

The POPS Plan serves as a strategic framework that outlines the objectives, strategies, and interventions of the local government in maintaining peace, order, and public safety. It aims to address pressing concerns such as crime prevention, conflict resolution, public safety, and community protection, while providing a clear direction for planning, coordination, and implementation of local safety initiatives.

The two-day activity was facilitated by the Municipal Local Government Operations Office (MLGOO) of DILG Daet, headed by LGOO VI Mary Ann B. Bolo, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer, together with LGOO II apprentices Samantha Zaira De Vera, Johanna Faye E. Lopez, and Arjun P. Delovino. The workshop provided an avenue for the councils and TWG members to collaboratively develop data-driven, inclusive, and action-oriented plans to ensure a peaceful, orderly, and drug-free community for the people of Daet.

𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆 | 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙧𝙪𝙜-𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨: 𝘽𝙋𝙊𝙋𝙎 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝘼𝘿𝙋𝘼 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝘿𝙖𝙚𝙩

The Municipal Government Operations Office (MLGOO) of Daet, headed by LGOO VI Mary Ann B. Bolo, conducted the Barangay Peace and Order and Public Safety (BPOPS) and Local Anti-Drug Abuse Plan of Action (LADPA) Formulation Workshop for the 25 barangays of LGU Daet on September 24, 2025, at the Liga ng mga Barangay Hall, Jarencio Building, Barangay Pamorangon, Daet, Camarines Norte.

The activity aimed to assist the barangays in formulating their respective BPOPS and LADPA plans for the years 2026–2028, focusing on identifying existing gaps, challenges, and priority interventions related to peace and order, public safety, and anti-illegal drug abuse initiatives. The workshop also served as a venue to align barangay plans with municipal and national strategies, ensuring a more coordinated and sustainable approach to community resilience and safety.

The workshop was participated in by Punong Barangays, Sangguniang Barangay Members (Committees on Peace and Order and Education), Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons, and Barangay Secretaries from the 25 barangays of Daet. It was facilitated by LGOO II apprentices Samantha Zaira De Vera, Johanna Faye E. Lopez, and Arjun P. Delovino, under the supervision of MLGOO Mary Ann B. Bolo. Through structured tools and participatory methods, the facilitators guided the participants in developing comprehensive, data-driven, and community-based plans that reflect each barangay’s unique needs and priorities.
